Steven R. Watts concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and securities law, representing both public and private companies. His experience includes public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, periodic reporting, securities law compliance, acquisition and divestiture transactions, corporate governance, corporate compliance programs, real estate syndications, private equity investments, bank securities activities, investment adviser regulation and compliance, intellectual property, licensing, contracts, and general corporate and business matters. Mr. Watts has been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the Woodward/White publication of the same name. He has been named among the "Best of the Bar" in The Dayton Business Journal. He received his B.A. in History from The Ohio State University in 1978 and his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1981, finishing first in his class. Mr. Watts has lectured on securities topics for the Ohio CLE Institute. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Section of Business Law; the Ohio State Bar Association; and the Dayton Bar Association. |
