Steven R. Tokach began his banking career in 1982 as Vice President with the First National Bank of Jermyn in Scranton, PA. From 1988 to 1993 he served as Vice President and Executive Vice President of Guaranty Bank, NA and First Eastern Bank, both in Pennsylvania, and is currently President of First Liberty Bank & Trust, a division of Community Bank, N.A. Prior to his banking career, Tokach worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as a Bank Examiner from 1968 to 1982.
Tokach attended Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting. He furthered his professional education by attending the Bucknell Graduate School of Banking. He was also a participant in a number of training programs sponsored by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Mr. Tokach has served on the boards of Guaranty Bank, Pennsylvania Bankers Association Group III, and the United Credit Bureau. He is currently a Director of Scranton Industrial Development Company (SIDCO). |
