Steven R. Beissinger, Ph.D., of Berkeley, California is a professor of conservation biology and the A. Starker Leopold Chair of Wildlife Biology in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a fellow of the American Ornithologists’ Union and an editorial board member of Conservation Biology, Ecology Letters and Current Ornithology. Dr. Beissinger is also a research associate at the Smithsonian Institution and University of California Museum of Vertebrate Zoology. |
