Steve has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry. From 1978 to 1984 Steve worked as an exploration geologist with Amoco Oil & Gas Corp. He then founded GeoTrends, Inc. from 1984 to the present where he consults to various companies such as Texaco, Amoco, Washington Natural Gas, etc. Steve has been actively involved with the Coos County coalbed methane project since the mid-1980's. In 1995 he joined forces with George Hampton to form GeoTrends-Hampton International, LLC to develop unconventional energy projects, including the Coos Bay prospect. Steve has a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Hartford in 1974 and a Master of Science in Geology from San Diego State University in 1979. |
