In 1974 Mr. Erdahl joined Valspar in the Minneapolis Accounting Department. He was promoted to Sales Representative in 1977. In 1984 Mr. Erdahl was promoted to Profit Center Manager for the Western Industrial Materials Region. Later he became Vice President General Industrial in 1989 and in 1991 was named Vice President of Industrial Coatings. In 1998 he was promoted to Sr. Vice President - Operations responsible for manufacturing purchasing corporate research and development and human resources. In 2000 he became Sr. Vice President Industrial Coatings and in 2002 he was promoted to Executive Vice President - Industrial and Automotive Coatings. In 2004 he was named to his current position with responsibility for leading the Automotive Packaging Coil and General Industrial businesses. |
