Steven J. VanTassel joined SoftBrands as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Hospitality in May 2005. In this position VanTassel is responsible for worldwide sales, service, support and product management. He reports to Randy Tofteland, SoftBrands president and chief operating officer.
VanTassel most recently was chief operating officer of Agiliti, Inc., a Minneapolis-based provider of managed data center hosting services. He also has served as chief operating officer of JDL Technologies, Inc., a technology solutions consulting company and held various leadership positions at Net Perceptions, Inc. from 1998 to 2002, including senior vice president of products.
VanTassel also spent 14 years at IBM in the retail channel, e-commerce and in sales. VanTassel holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Minnesota.
