Steven J. Strobel, age 49, is senior vice president and treasurer of Motorola, Inc. He is responsible for the company's capital structure and liquidity, insurance and currency risk management, offset and counter-trade, cash management and investment, pension management, and real estate. Steve joined Motorola in 2003 as senior vice president and corporate controller. Prior to joining Motorola, he was with Owens Corning from 1996 to 2003, culminating in his role as vice president finance and treasurer. From 1986 to 1996, Strobel was with Kraft Foods, where he held financial positions of increasing responsibility including vice president and controller, Kraft USA Operations; and chief financial officer, Kraft Foods Canada. Strobel began his career as a certified public accountant and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. |
