Steven D. Groth
Profile
Steve Groth is a partner in the Litigation Group. Mr. Groth concentrates his practice in civil litigation, including business and insurance defense litigation. He represents clients in the insurance, trucking, and nursing home industries, and well as small businesses and individuals, mostly in defense of personal injury claims. Mr. Groth handles litigation involving school law and commercial transactions, and also provides insurance coverage opinions. He practices in all federal and state courts of Indiana, and has briefed and argued successful appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Court of Appeals. Mr. Groth received his undergraduate education from the University of Illinois in Champaign and his legal education from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a former member of the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (1987 - 1993) and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is admitted to practice in law in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
