Steven C. Petruska is the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In his position, he oversees all of Pulte Home's domestic homebuilding operations, which span 51 markets and 26 states. He is also responsible for all centralized functions that have a direct impact on field operations including product development, sales and marketing, segmentation, active adult development, construction, purchasing and customer service related activities.
Steven C. Petruska joined Pulte Homes, Inc. in 1984 as the Vice President of Finance for the South Texas Division. During his 23-year career with Pulte Homes, Mr. Petruska has held numerous management positions. Before his current promotion, Mr. Petruska was Area President for Pulte Homes’ Arizona and Nevada operations, which in 2002 delivered almost 6,000 homes valued at more than $1.4 billion in revenues. Mr. Petruska has also served as the President of the Company’s Las Vegas Division and as the President of the Southwest Region.
While at Pulte Homes, Mr. Petruska has proven to be an excellent business operator and an innovative leader. His operations were consistently ranked among highest in unit and revenue growth, return on capital, customer satisfaction, people development and other key measures.
