Dr. Kagan joins the LeMaitre Vascular Scientific Advisory Board from Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a vascular surgeon on staff at Rex Hospital and Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the Society for Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Kagan received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Tufts University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Massachusetts. He has received several academic awards, including the Hewlett Packard Award for Academic Excellence at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Kagan completed his general surgical residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and a vascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He has twice received the Wallace P. Ritchie Award for Teaching Excellence at Temple University, has published many articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has contributed chapters to several vascular surgery textbooks. |
