Steven A. Denning is the Chairman of General Atlantic LLC one of the world's leading direct investment firms focused on investing globally in companies providing or using IT in ways that significantly transform the value proposition. He has been with General Atlantic (or its predecessor) since 1980 including serving as Co-Managing Partner from 1990 to 1995 and a Managing Director of the predecessor firm General Atlantic Corp. Mr. Denning is a director of Eclipsys Corporation SRA International Inc. The Thomson Corporation and one private information technology company in which investment entities affiliated with General Atlantic LLC are investors.
