Steven A. Lancellotta provides business, transactional, regulatory and government relations counsel to clients in all segments of the telecommunications and technology industries, including broadband, common carrier, fixed and mobile wireless, broadcast, cable, telephony, Internet and emerging technology companies, software companies, financial institutions, content providers, and equipment manufacturers. On behalf of his clients, he has participated in a broad range of rulemaking and adjudicatory proceedings and handled a wide variety of licensing and policy matters before the FCC, FTC, Patent and Trademark Office, Copyright Office, and other federal and state agencies, as well as before Congress. Mr. Lancellotta also has significant experience in structuring, negotiating and implementing complex contracts and transactions, including those related to the purchase, sale and use of communications, media and technology properties and spectrum assets. In addition, Mr. Lancellotta works with communications and technology companies seeking to enter foreign markets, and consults in connection with the deployment of communications regulatory schemes for other countries.

Mr. Lancellotta also represents the users of telecommunications services and infrastructure, such as municipalities, educational institutions, financial institutions, utilities and real estate interests. On behalf of such entities, he has negotiated a variety of contracts and agreements, including lease agreements, license agreements, franchise agreements, management contracts and access agreements. Mr. Lancellotta also provides strategic counsel and advice to entities deploying telecommunications assets.

In addition, Mr. Lancellotta provides transactional support to software companies, assisting them with sales and licensing agreements, teaming agreements, joint ventures and the like.

Mr. Lancellotta speaks at industry seminars and conferences and is the author of numerous articles on a wide range of telecommunications and technology issues.

Mr. Lancellotta received his law degree from The George Washington University. He received his B.A from the University of Rhode Island, graduating with highest distinction. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Federal Communications Bar Association.
