Steve Tozzi began his career in restaurant management while attending college at the University of Florida where he managed several local eateries. After his University days he then moved into restaurant operations in the full service dining segment. Mr. Tozzi relocated to Southern California in 1987, beginning his franchising career with Domino s Pizza. Teaming up with a local franchisee, he was able to build and successfully operate a multiple unit operation for several years. In 1992 he joined Domino's Pizza, Inc at its regional west coast office in Los Angeles where was a franchise consultant, under the leadership of Mimi Zeller, who is now Submarina s current President and Chief Operating Officer. Steve was involved in every aspect of the franchisee s business and tasked with helping them and their hundreds of locations with store operations, training, marketing and finance. In addition, Steve has also served as District Manager for Papa John s and Quizno s Subs; continuing his franchising experience. Most recently, he served as Director of Training for a multi-unit Sizzler franchisee. Mr. Tozzi joined Submarina as Director of Training in March of 2007 and was promoted to Executive Director in June. He is no stranger to either of these areas and is a great asset to Submarina. I was excited to become part of Submarina and am looking forward to assisting the franchise system grow. It is an absolute pleasure to work with such a dedicated team of professionals all striving for the same goal. With 30 years of history behind us, the team we have in place, and under the direction of our CEO, Jeff Warfield and President Mimi Zeller, the Submarina brand is positioned perfectly for major expansion.
