Steve has a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College. He is a board member of the City of Hope Insurance Council Make-A-Wish Foundation and Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West.
Steve is responsible for the profitability and growth of CNA’s Field Operations West which encompasses basically all branch offices west of the Mississippi River with the exception of Chicago/Lombard and Milwaukee/Brookfield. He is the former president of CNA’s West Region.
Before joining CNA in 2001 Steve was senior vice president Commercial Accounts Division for Reliance Insurance. He started his insurance career with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies as a surety underwriter. He later held branch executive positions in California Connecticut and Illinois.
