Steve co-founded Cresting Wave in 2002 and currently serves as a Managing Partner. His expertise has created unprecedented market traction for dozens of early stage venture backed startups. Now a recognized authority on new technology sales methods, Steve works closely with investors, entrepreneurs, and CEO’s to rapidly grow their emerging technology companies into industry leaders. Steve leads new business acquisition by securing clients like Bit9, Inc., StreamBase Systems, Revivio, Archivas and CheckPoint. Steve came to Cresting Wave with over 10 years of documented success in sales management for both Fortune 500 and start up ventures. As General Manager at Captivate Network, Inc., he built and managed the East region sales teams from the ground up and was responsible for helping secure all initial early stage customers. His sales methodologies help grow revenues by 200% during his 3 year term. As ADP’s Vice President of Sales for the NY Region, Steve’s regions doubled revenue growth for 2 consecutive years - 1998, 1999. Steve has received numerous sales awards and hired over 100 sales, marketing and sales support staff throughout his career. Steve is a graduate from Siena College where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance.
