Steve Quane formerly corporate vice president of global marketing moved into his position of general manager for Trend Micro’s small and medium business solutions in 2005. He is responsible for driving the business operations and strategy for Trend Micro’s Worry-Free solutions designed specifically to support and protect the smaller organisation. Quane has been with Trend Micro since 2001 first serving as Global Director of Product Marketing during which time he was pivotal to the introduction of Trend Micro Enterprise Protection Strategy to a changing security marketplace.
Prior to joining Trend Micro Quane spent 5 years in product management and business development roles with Intel Corporation’s systems management appliance and hosting divisions. Before joining high tech Quane spent several years in the United States Air Force as a Combat Communications Officer and Battle Director serving tours of duty in the Bosnian Conflict at NORAD Command Center and with the U.S. Customs Agency.
Quane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and currently resides in Munich Germany. |
