Steve Meyer is executive vice president, & president U.S and Canada Business for Welch Allyn. In this role he oversees the entire portfolio of products and services for this region including sales, marketing, franchise management, customer service, market sensing, as well as global category management and R & D.
A native of Michigan, he began his career at Welch Allyn in 1981 as a sales representative in Detroit. Over the last 26 years, Steve has held a series of leadership roles in a wide range of areas. He became a vice president in 1996, which provided the foundation for his current role.
Steve holds a B.S. degree from Alma College in biology and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Rochester. He serves on the board of directors for the Health Industry Distributors Association Foundation, MedTech (Central New York Medical Technology Association), Alma College, and Hiawatha Seaway Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a past board member and president of the Health Manufacturers Marketing Council, and Westminster Manor Extended Care. |
