Steve Laudicino is Vice President of the Central Area, which includes offices in Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee. His responsibilities encompass doctor relations; front-office staff development; and dentist and staff recruitment. He also directs the efforts of four market managers and three district managers.
Just prior to joining Bright Now! Dental, Steve served as Divisional Vice President for La Petite Academy, a company that operated over 600 pre-schools nationwide. Before La Petite, most of Steve’s experience had been in the optical industry. Steve spent nearly 20 years with Optical Corporation of America where he became President of Lugene Opticians. This division was a specialty retailer that included high-end optical, sunglass, hearing aid, and social engraving stores. When Lugene was sold, Steve and a partner started Access International Eyewear, an importer of exclusive optical products selling directly to independent optical retailers throughout the U.S. Deciding he preferred the retail environment, they sold Access and Steve joined Cole Vision, which was acquired by Luxottica, a specialty retailer with over 5,000 optical locations, including Lenscrafters, Sears Optical, Pearle Vision, Sunglass Hut, Target Optical and BJ’s Optical. As Territory Vice President at Luxottica, Steve had daily operations and P&L responsibility for 244 locations with 10 regional managers and 1 Territory Director.
Steve spent four years in the Navy as an air controller. After his military service, Steve attended New York City Community College and received his New York State Ophthalmic License. In his free time Steve enjoys designing and crafting stained glass art, reading, traveling and spending time with his family. |
