Steve Iandolo Biography :

Steve Iandolo joined EB Developers, Inc. in 2005 as Vice President of Operations to lead the company’s newly created Orlando division. A self-motivated, creative, insightful and results oriented development professional, he brings a proven track record in all phases of development, design, documentation and construction of high quality projects. His reputation for creative problem solving and project leadership while maintaining efficient, high quality work on a variety of projects will greatly contribute to the continued growth and success of EB Developers. Enjoying a career as an architect, owner, and developer that has spanned the globe, Mr. Iandolo has been involved in the design and development field for over 25 years, concentrating in the hospitality and leisure industries since 1985. Experienced in major hotel, resort, and leisure projects in the United States as well as in 30 countries on 4 continents, he has completed projects that are considered tops in their category and destination around the world. He has served on the panel of the executive short course on Resort and Leisure Development at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, lectured for the Urban Land Institute and contributed to Urban Land magazine. Prior to joining EB Developers, Mr. Iandolo relocated to Orlando, Florida in 1999 to join Universal Studios, where he managed the design and construction team that was responsible for resort hotel development at Universal Orlando, producing the very successful Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel and the Royal Pacific Resort. Following that he was a key member of the development team for the Universal Studios Shanghai theme park in Shanghai, China. He lent considerable expertise in project development to both efforts - including planning, design, technical services, programming, scheduling, budgeting and construction. Before moving to Florida, Mr. Iandolo developed golf resorts with Crown Golf Properties, LP. As Vice President of Design and Development, he managed the development, planning, design and construction of golf course properties throughout the United States, including the award winning River Valley Ranch Golf Club near Aspen, Colorado. Prior to that, Mr. Iandolo spent time as President of Resorting to Leisure, Inc., where he created and managed development strate¬gies, master plans and repositioning strategies for the hotel and leisure indus¬tries, including the award winning Miraval destination spa in Tucson, Arizona. During his early design career in Chicago, Mr. Iandolo worked for world famous architect Helmut Jahn at Murphy/Jahn Associates, as well as the award winning firm of Holabird & Root, with its history dating back to Chicago’s first high rise buildings. He had a strong desire to broaden his experience into real estate development when he moved to the owner’s side and joined Hyatt International Hotels Corporation during their dramatic growth period in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, increasing its hotel portfolio from 26 international hotels and resorts to over 60. During that time his team administered nearly 40 hotel and resort projects in 27 countries. Many of these properties continue to win awards from the likes of Travel & Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler and Asian Business Magazine, including the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Grand Hyatt Bali, Park Hyatt Sydney, Hyatt Regency Istanbul and the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture in 1979, Mr. Iandolo also spent a year in Rome, Italy in the Notre Dame Rome Studies Program. Upon graduation, he was awarded the School of Architecture’s Excellence in Design Award.
