Steven Heaney joined Brandywine Senior Living in February of 1999 as Executive Director of The Gables; Brandywine's first assisted living community. With a keen eye for detail Steven was able to build a team of coworkers who had the same ideals as he, to deliver unparalleled service to our seniors. During his time at The Gables he helped develop the programs that have made Brandywine Senior Living a premier leader in the assisted living industry. From this position, Steven assumed greater responsibility by accepting regional duties in Brandywine's New Jersey and Delaware communities. These duties included the oversight of all operations in six Brandywine communities. As Brandywine Senior Living continued to grow, so did Steven's role. He soon moved into the role as Vice President of Operations. This position brought all nine Brandywine communities under his supervision. With a team of talented Executive Directors, they were able to build Brandywine Assisted Living into the premier provider in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. In June 2006, Steven accepted a new challenge, as Vice President of Development. In this new position, Steven has the task of identifying new markets for Brandywine to continue to grow and build upon the foundation that has been set. Prior to joining Brandywine, he spent five years with Marriott Senior Living Services, serving in various positions throughout New Jersey. Steven is Vice Chairman of the New Jersey Assisted Living Council, the New Jersey affiliate of the Assisted Living Federation of America and the National Council for Assisted Living. |
