Steve Garnett has served as a director of StreamServe since 2003. Dr Garnett has held senior positions at two start-ups that turned into world-leading software companies: Oracle Corp. and Siebel Systems. He spent 18 years at these two companies in a variety of senior sales, alliances and general management positions. He recently joined Salesforce.com, the second- largest privately held Silicon Valley start-up, as senior vice president and general manager of EMEA. Dr. Garnett joined Siebel Systems in 1997 as vice president and general manager in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. He was a member of the Siebel Executive Management Team until 2002. He was also a member of the Siebel Founders Circle. In 1985 Dr. Garnett joined Oracle Corp. and was a member of the Oracle European Management team from 1994 to 1997. During this period, grew from a start-up to the world s second-largest software company. Dr. Garnett currently has four non-executive board positions and sits on the Apax advisory board. Dr. Garnett has a degree in mathematics and a doctorate in theoretical physics from the University of Manchester and a number of professional affiliations.
