Steve Fluin has held a number of senior positions in the software industry over the past 20 years. He joined Detroit based Comshare Inc. in the eighties and rose to the position of Vice President for Europe in 1991 before leaving in 1996 to set up an EMEA operation for Retek Information Systems, a Minneapolis based Software Company that was acquired by Oracle and became their Retail Division.
He left Retek in 1999 to take up the position of CEO at Gentia Software and when this company was acquired by Boston based Open Ratings in 2002 he moved to Performancesoft Inc. of Toronto to open an International division of the company. Performancesoft Inc. was acquired by Actuate Corporation in January 2006 and he is now the Senior Vice President for their Performance Management Division.
He has an HND in Business Management and is an active member of The Institute of Directors in London. |
