Steve Champeau is President, North America. He was previously Vice President and General Manager of Checkpoint's Security Systems Group (SSG), which was formed when Checkpoint acquired Alarmex in 1995. In addition to his role as President, Mr. Champeau continues to lead Checkpoint's SSG division, based in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Mr. Champeau had joined Alarmex in 1985 as a National Account Manager. He helped drive significant growth over the next 10 years, and served in various capacities during his tenure at the company, including a promotion to the position of Vice President and General Manager in 1990.
Mr. Champeau holds an associate's degree from Minneapolis Technical College and certification from the Minnesota Management Institute on Executive Development from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. |
