Mr. Steve Chan was appointed chairman of Coca-Cola China Limited on August 1, 2000. Prior to this, he had held the position of president of Coca-Cola China Limited since March 1, 1999.
Mr. Chan started his career with the then Central Pacific Division of Coca-Cola in 1979. Following an assignment to the U.S. headquarters audit department in Atlanta, Mr. Chan subsequently returned to Hong Kong to assume senior financial positions.
In 1993 Mr. Chan was promoted to the position of executive vice-president and general manager, where he acquired vast experience in the Company's day-to-day China operations.
He holds a B.S. in Accounting from San Jose University, California, USA. |
