Mr. Zahony's responsibilities include the oversight of the geologic, drilling and resource development programs for the Company. In addition, he is responsible for conducting and overseeing property evaluations as part of our ongoing property acquisition and development program. Mr. Zahony is a seasoned mining and mineral exploration geologist with particular proficiency and passion for the understanding of ore deposits and mining properties and has managed numerous large and small projects in a variety of geological and political environments. With surface and underground experience, Stephen has had lead positions in several significant ore discoveries. His experience includes three years as resident mine geologist at the Henderson and Climax molybdenum mines in Colorado and five years as a district exploration manager for Noranda Mines. Before joining Canyon in May 2007, Stephen was former Vice President of Exploration for Brazauro Resources Corporation. |
