Steve heads Glocap's Accounting and Operations Practice, which focuses on assisting hedge funds, private equity funds, investment banks, commercial banks, family offices, and operating companies to build their organizations through the addition of COOs, CFOs, Controllers, Accountants, and Operations Professionals. Steve is intimately familiar with these roles, having worked as a Managing Director in the finance and private equity divisions at J.P.Morgan & Co. for 19 years, including roles as CFO of the private equity division of J.P. Morgan, CFO of the Paris office, and CFO of a J.P.Morgan Chase sponsored $6.5 billion buyout fund. For two years after JPMorgan, Steve was the Managing Director in charge of a private equity fund administration practice at a New York City based outsourcing service provider, Geller & Company, where his clients were buyout funds, venture funds, fund of funds and institutional investors. Steve also spent the first four years of his business career in the private business advisory services group of KPMG in Boston, Massachusetts, working with many private companies. During the two years prior to joining Glocap, Steve founded a consulting practice that was focused on providing services to private equity funds, venture funds, and institutional investors with large holdings of alternative investments. Steve is married with two daughters. Time permitting, Steve enjoys running and golfing. Steve received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and earned his BS in Mathematics and Economics from Boston College, where he was a member of the Arts and Sciences Honors program. |
