Stephen has over 20 years of management consulting experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, strategic development and business process reengineering.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron, Stephen was a Manager with A.T. Kearney involved with consulting engagements in both the U.S. and Europe. Before consulting, Stephen worked for several years in production operations management and production planning.

For one of the largest construction and mining companies in North America, led a sourcing effort for 12 spend commodities, which resulted in annual savings of 14%.
Led a global strategic sourcing assignment for a major newly formed truck producer. Spend was reduced by 22% for targeted power train components as a result of consolidating and leveraging spend across the truck brands.
Established a centrally led procurement organization for a company managing several senior healthcare facilities throughout the U.S. Savings for nine initial sourcing efforts yielded overall annual savings of 16%.
Led a business unit strategy development project for a major European dairy products producer suffering from major losses in one of its key divisions. The strategy resulted in the division becoming profitable again. Add-on projects included making improvements to the supply chain and logistics network.
For a leading worldwide producer of fast-moving personal and household chemical products, led a distribution and supply chain study in Central Europe. The engagement allowed the company to become quickly established in the region through the development of a network of preferred distributors.
