Mr. Hallam has many years of experience in the successful resolution of complex commercial disputes. His clients including international banks, investment houses and other financial institutions as well as global corporations, major companies in the oil and gas industry and high net worth individuals. His work is broad-based, encompassing High Court commercial litigation, international arbitration, civil fraud and related asset tracing and recovery, regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings.
Also, as part of the firm's Structured Resolution Group, Mr. Hallam helps to analyze the issues surrounding the subprime market collapse in an effort to help clients identify and execute on arbitrage and repackaging strategies.
Before joining Brown Rudnick, Mr. Hallam was a partner in a major London law firm for 19 years and is recognised as being one of the leading commercial litigation lawyers in London. He is recommended by clients for his "thoughtful, pro-active and effective" approach to the successful resolution of disputes (Chambers Legal Directory 2006).
Mr. Hallam is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds that Institute's Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration. He is also trained in mediation.
