Stephen Dienna serves as vice president, New Business Development for the Unisys Global Media industry. In this role, he is continuing the expansion of Unisys editorial and advertising solutions into the publishing market, including magazines. He has played a pivotal role in leading the sales strategy for Unisys latest media solution release, News Content Manager-Hermes 10. Steve first joined Unisys as vice president and general manager for Media sales and delivery in the North American, Latin American, and the Asia Pacific regions, where the group has had continued client success.
Before joining Unisys, Steve held positions at IBM, Atex Publishing Systems Corp. and Integrated Newspaper Systems International. During his six years at IBM, Steve held the titles of global segment executive, Publishing & Media Industry and global market executive, Publishing Solutions. In these roles, Steve implemented marketing strategies and business practices for products and business partners and also influenced the IBM e-business strategy to correlate with the Digital Media Strategy and Media Asset Management framework for the publishing industry as well as provided leadership in secured content distribution systems (e-books). As sales director at Atex Publishing Systems Corporation, he established product and sales strategies for the North American market and managed the regional and national sales force.
Steve also served as vice president of sales and customer service at Integrated Newspaper Systems International, where he developed business plans for the AS/400 offerings for the newspaper industry and managed external marketing efforts and value-added reseller (VAR) agreements. Steve is an experienced speaker at recognized industry conferences on topics such as emerging Web strategies and technologies. |
