Mr. Chan develops commercialization and reimbursement strategies for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device manufacturers, bringing over nine years of health policy and reimbursement experience. His recent experience includes the design and execution of market studies to inform product-positioning strategies. He has also evaluated U.S. reimbursement risks and opportunities and conducted a broad market assessment for a product in development for several therapeutic indications. In addition, he has managed a number of pricing, message testing, awareness and key opinion leader identification research initiatives, as well as consulted with clients regarding Medicare, Medicaid and private payer reimbursement policies. Mr. Chan has also been responsible for monitoring legislation and regulations that affect the delivery of cancer care, and for conducting analyses that determined the impact on cancer patients and providers. He has worked with members of Congress, federal agencies, patient advocacy groups, health care organizations and industry to develop and advocate for health policies that ensure patients access to quality cancer care. Mr. Chan received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Virginia and his MBA from The George Washington University. |
