Steve Springer was employed by Texas Gas Transmission Corporation for over twenty years, where he served in a variety of executive management positions including vice president of gas acquisitions, vice president of marketing, senior vice president of marketing and senior vice president of customer services. Springer was president of Transco Gas Marketing for two years before he served as vice president of business development at Williams Field Services Company from 1995 to 1999. He was then promoted to senior vice president and general manager of Williams Midstream Division, the position he held until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Springer has served on the board of directors of Atmos Energy Corporation since 2005. He was named to the board of DCP Midstream Partners on July 11, 2007.
Springer earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.
The Fort Wayne, Indiana native was born in 1946.
