Stephen P. Casper has served as a director of MarketAxess since April 2004. Mr. Casper is the Chief Executive Officer of Fischer Francis Trees & Watts, Inc., a specialist manager of U.S., global and international fixed income portfolios for institutional clients, a position he has held since April 2004. Mr. Casper joined Fischer Francis Tree & Watts as Chief Financial Officer in 1990 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in May 2001. From 1984 until 1990, Mr. Casper was Treasurer of the Rockefeller Family Office. Mr. Casper is a member of the board of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, chairman of its Audit Committee, and a member of the board of its subsidiaries, the Depository Trust Company, the National Securities Clearing Corporation, the Emerging Markets Clearing Corporation and the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation. He is also a member of the investment committee of the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Mr. Casper is a Certified Public Accountant and received a B.B.A in accounting from Baruch College, where he graduated magna cum laude, Beta Gamma Sigma, and an M.S. in finance and accounting from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
