Stephen has more than eleven years of experience in business valuation mergers and acquisitions principal investments and strategic advisory services. He has been involved in more than 100 healthcare engagements including litigation support for hospital/physician joint ventures home health buy-side M&A programs healthcare venture capital/private equity investment programs and business scope expansion assessments.
Professional Experience
Stephen previously served Solaris Asset Management LLC as a Healthcare Equity Research Analyst and as a Portfolio Manager of a private investment fund. Prior to Solaris Stephen was an independent principal investor with responsibility to source assess and invest in venture capital investment opportunities. He also served in an operating capacity within selected portfolio companies including serving as Director of Finance for MNA Inc a healthcare IT concern. Stephen continues to be involved as a principal in a variety of business interests including in the transportation commercial banking investment banking commercial real estate hotel and agricultural industries.
Prior to his equity research and principal investment experience Stephen served as an investment banker with a focus on mergers and acquisitions with the firms Wasserstein Perella & Co. and CIBC Oppenheimer Corp. During his experience as an investment banker Stephen helped execute several merger and acquisition and corporate finance transactions with an aggregate value of more than $20.0 billion.
