Stephen E. Recht is Chief Financial Officer, responsible for managing all financials for Shutterfly, including operations, procedures, budgeting, fiscal planning and analysis. He also manages the Company’s legal and information technology departments. Stephen brings more than 25 years of experience in financial management, operations and strategy development to the Company.
Prior to joining Shutterfly, Stephen served as the COO and CFO at SkyStream Networks. Before SkyStream, Stephen was the CEO at Brience Inc., where he completed the successful merger of the company with TSI Telecommunications. Previously, Stephen was CFO of NetGravity, where he led the company’s IPO, completed a $120 million secondary offering and drove a $525 million merger with DoubleClick.
Stephen earned a BA in economics from Stanford University, received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and became a CPA in the State of California in 1979.
A perfect day for Stephen is spending time with his wife and capturing photos of their son on the lacrosse field with his Canon Rebel. |
