Stephen Bachand, 67, a Corporate Director, is the retired President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited. He currently serves on the boards of Canadian Pacific Railway Limited and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc. In addition, at different times during the period from 2001 to 2005, Mr. Bachand served as a director of the following publicly traded companies: Krystal Bond Inc. and Canadian Pacific Limited. He graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts with a B.A. and from the Darden School of the University of Virginia with an M.B.A.
