Stephen D. Owens is a Managing Director focused on global buyout opportunities in the consumer and retail sector. Mr. Owens has been actively involved in a number of the firm’s investments, including Casema Holdings B.V., Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., Imagitas, Inc., Insight Communications, Inc., Piedmont/Hawthorne Holdings, Inc. and WILLCOM, Inc. (previously DDI Pocket, Inc.). He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle in 1998, Mr. Owens worked in investment banking and principal investing roles at Lehman Brothers in their New York and Hong Kong offices.
Mr. Owens received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated with distinction from Emory University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. |
