Stephanie Amoroso is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the Washington, DC Office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Her practice is focused on patent litigation, with some patent prosecution.
Before joining Milbank, Dr. Amoroso was the sole in-house intellectual property attorney at a start-up biopharmaceutical company which recently went public. Prior to that, Dr. Amoroso was a patent agent/associate for five years at a boutique intellectual property firm in New York, where she focused her practice on pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical patent prosecution, portfolio management, and client counseling. She has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications, preparing patentability, validity, and infringement opinions, conducting due diligence, and negotiating contracts and licensing agreements.
Dr. Amoroso is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of Connecticut and is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Dr. Amoroso received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Fairfield University in 1994, her Ph.D. in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of Maryland in 1999, and her J.D. from Fordham Law School in 2005. |
