Dr. Stefan Fink is a partner in the Corporate Department and member of the Real Estate Group of McDermott Will & Emery Rechtsanwälte LLP, based in the Munich office. He advices on all aspects of corporate real estate law, including real estate transactions, real estate transaction finance, real estate outsourcing, commercial tenancy law, public- and private construction law and project development.
Stefan has vast experience in complex real estate transactions, regarding single object transactions and portfolio transactions (asset deals and share deals). He represents U.S. and European investment funds and investment banks as well as further real estate investors and project developers. He advices particularly on all aspects in connection with the development and sale or acquisition of office buildings, retail buildings and shopping-centres.
Stefan is author of numerous publications in the field of corporate real estate law. He frequently speaks at seminars on real estate transactions and commercial tenancy law.
Stefan attended the University in Bonn and the Academy of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. He has done his doctorate at the University in Bonn as Dr. jur. At the Law School of the University of Northumbria at Newcastle he received the Masters’ Degree as an LL.M.
Prior to McDermott he worked for four years in the corporate real estate department of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Thereafter, he was a partner in a German law firm, specialised in the field of corporate real estate law.
Stefan is admitted to the German Bar. He speaks German, English and French.
