Mr. Beard is a Director of CWEI and a member of the Compensation and Audit Committees of the Board of Directors. Mr. Beard has been an independent oil and gas operator for over thirty years. From 1982 to 1990, he was President, Chief Operating Officer and a director of Remington Resources, Inc., an independent oil and gas company headquartered in Midland, Texas, which he sold in 1990. He is a private investor and has been a consultant to Mr. Williams periodically since 1968. Mr. Beard received a B.B.A. degree in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma.
