Stanford Adelstein is President and CEO, Northwestern Engineering Company (NWE), NWE Development Company, and NWE Management Company. He joined Northwestern Engineering in 1957, and assumed the responsibilities of the president's office in 1966.
A member of numerous professional, community, and public boards, Mr. Adelstein is also actively involved in politics at the local, state, and national levels. In 2000 he was elected to the South Dakota State House of Representatives. Mr. Adelstein is as a reserve officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Adelstein holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both Civil Engineering and Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Colorado - Boulder. He is an adjunct professor at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and is a recipient of the University of Colorado Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award. |
