Description of Practice:
Stacie Smiley is an associate in our real estate group based in the Los Angeles office. She provides associate-level support to the real estate team in a variety of matters.
Educational History:
Stacie received her B.A., magna cum laude, in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. As an undergraduate, Stacie volunteered for a tutoring program for children in West Philadelphia. She went on to obtain her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004. While in law school, Stacie received the Witkin Award for excellence in torts.
Stacie worked as a summer associate for the Law Offices of Barger and Wolen in San Francisco during the summer of 2003. While there, she wrote numerous motions, issued subpoenas, and assisted in the preparation of the firm's written national guide regarding insurance coverage issues. During the summer of 2002, Stacie served as an intern for District Attorney Richard Hechler, working primarily in the elderly abuse unit. |
