In Jan 2007, Sloan D. Gaon was promoted to SVP/GM, Consumer Entertainment. Sloan formerly served as VP of Global Strategy and Corporate Development and Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Alliances from Feb 2004 to Dec 2006.With 10 years of Internet experience, Sloan has executive general management expertise in the global online marketing, domain name, content and e-commerce areas. Before joining MIVA, Sloan was COO of RegistryPro, Inc., a subsidiary of Register.com. Prior positions include Director of Business Development at Register.com and VP of Internet Initiatives and Associate General Counsel at TurboChef Technologies where he was responsible for structuring global strategic alliances and joint ventures.An alumnus of Clark University, he graduated cum laude from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1995 where he was Executive Editor of the Law Review and an Irwin Brodsky Securities Scholarship recipient. |
