Simon is currently COO at The MediaTile Company, the technology leader in cellular digital signage solutions. Until 2007 Simon served as Chief Financial Officer and EVP Operations at SurfControl, a public Internet Content Security company, and was on the Board of SurfControl from 2001 until 2007 when it was acquired by Websense. Simon joined SurfControl in 2000 from KPMG's US Corporate Finance Practice, where he specialised in advising software and IT services companies on all aspects of domestic and cross-border acquisitions, sales, divestitures and financings. From 1989 to 1994, Simon held a variety of Finance Director roles at subsidiaries of Misys plc after having spent five years with Ernst & Young. Simon is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and holds a Bcomm (Honours) from Birmingham University, England. |
