Shuki Ronen is currently the director of multicomponent and acquisition research for Veritas.
Shuki studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and at Stanford University, USA. He has worked as an algorithm developer in Saxpy Computer Company in California, as a visiting professor at the Colorado School of Mines and as a geophysicist in the Israeli Geophysical Institute. He has held various R&D and operational positions in various Schlumberger companies including Wireline, GeoQuest and Geco-Prakla.
Shuki has made contributions to science and industry in the areas of seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation. For his contribution to the SU processing systems, he received a special commendation award from the SEG. |
