Sherry Carbary is the President of Alteon Training. She is responsible for all of the company’s Aviation Training programs and related services. She has oversight of Alteon's global operations and is responsible for the implementation of all acquisitions including the development of all new training operations. Carbary currently manages corporate headquarters and training centers in 22 locations on six continents in 11 countries. She has full fiscal and regulatory compliance responsible for all personnel and business practices.
In a career that spans 17 years with The Boeing Company, Carbary has led several divisions. Her last assignment at The Boeing Company was the vice president of Strategic management for the Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Marketing and Business Strategy. In this role, she facilitated the development of BCA's competitive, market-driven business strategy. Carbary also led the integration of airline product and services strategy, and the development of BCA's Global Enterprise strategy.
Prior to that assignment Carbary held the position of Business Director & Deputy Vice President, International Sales BCA. She was responsible for leading Sales Directors in the sale of commercial airplanes and associated airplane services in South East Asia, Middle East, Africa and Australia regions. Carbary was also the Director, Investor Relations for Boeing World Headquarters, responsible for representing the financial position of The Boeing Company to the investment community.
Other assignments include Director of Revenue Management, Regional Director of Marketing for Airline Financial Analysis and Financial Planner for the 777 program. She joined the Boeing Company in 1989 as a senior financial analyst in the Corporate Credit Office.
Carbary serves on the Board of the Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU), the fouth largest Credit Union in the United States.
Carbary earned a Masters in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from Seattle University, and two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance and Economics for Eastern Washington University. |
