Sherry co-founded Stratford School in 1999 and currently serves as the Director of Educational Services. With more than 25 years of experience in private preschool and elementary school education, Sherry has served as a mentor and master teacher, principal, trainer, and regional coordinator. As Stratford School s Director of Educational Services, she is responsible for the development and implementation of all educational and administrative programs. In addition, her management responsibilities include parent relations, human resources, training and leadership development, and overall quality assurance. Sherry embodies the spirit of Stratford School, "Summa spes, summa res," which in Latin means, High hopes, high things . Sherry holds a degree in Business Management from St. Mary s College, an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, and Program Director Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. While attending St. Mary s College, she received a "Distinguished Project Award" for the development and implementation of a human resource function within a private school organization. Sherry lives in San Jose with her husband of twenty-nine years, Willie, and loves to spend time with her family, Stephen, Holly, Michael, Jacqueline, and beautiful grandson, Shaun Michael.
