Shemara Wikramanayake is an Executive Director of the Macquarie Group and is currently head of the Macquarie Group's IB Funds division in North America. Ms Wikramanayake joined the Macquarie Group in 1987.
Prior to her current position, Ms Wikramanayake was employed as head of the Prudential Oversight team in the Investment Banking Group, a position she held since 2001. Prior to 2001, Ms Wikramanayake spent 14 years in Macquarie Bank Limited's Corporate Advisory team, where she advised on a range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, valuations and public sector advice and privatizations.
Ms Wikramanayake has a commerce degree and a law degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. |
