Ms. Dorn is an associate in the Corporate Department at Brown Rudnick, where she focuses on a broad range of intellectual property matters and general corporate matters, including domestic and foreign patent prosecution, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities law compliance. She works with emerging growth and public companies in a variety of industries.
She has prior legal experience as an intern at the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Washington, D.C., where she worked with Administrative Patent Judge Teddy S. Gron to evaluate ex parte appeals. She was also an intern at Tyco Healthcare Group LP in Mansfield, Massachusetts, where she conducted patent searches and drafted patent applications related to medical devices.
