Shelly is a financial executive with extensive operational and administrative experience in media and communications. He served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Business Development for the Television Group of Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc. During his time there, the subscriber base doubled to nearly 80 million homes making the channel the fastest growing in the industry. He was Senior Vice President, Finance for ABC Entertainment Television Group, and prior to that, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of TVN Entertainment a media and technology company. During eight years at Sony Pictures Entertainment he advanced to Executive Vice President Finance of the worldwide motion picture group. Before that, he held various finance and accounting positions in both private and public companies. He began his career at the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young. Shelly holds a B.S. in Accounting, Cum Laude from City University of New York and N.Y.S. Society of CPA’s Award of Honor. |
