Shawn Terry brings significant private equity investing, strategic advisory and investment banking experience to the MHT team. Prior to founding MHT Partners, he served as a Managing Director of the Crossroads Group, a $2.0 billion private equity investment group headquartered in Dallas, Texas. While at Crossroads, he was involved in investing in dozens of venture capital and buyout funds, direct portfolio company investments and in a $400 million secondary acquisition of private equity assets formerly owned by EDS Corporation. Prior to joining the Crossroads Group, he spent nearly four years with McKinsey & Co., serving as an Engagement Manager in their Dallas office. While at McKinsey, he focused on providing strategic advisory services to clients in the Consumer Goods, Transportation, Electronics, Medical and Retail industries. Shawn began his career in the New York office of Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an investment banking analyst. While at Goldman Sachs, he specialized in both corporate finance and M&A transactions for media and telecommunications firms. Shawn has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Political Science. Shawn is active in community and government affairs and served as the Republican nominee for United States Congress from Texas 24th Congressional District in 1998. |
